How AutoLista works
AutoLista is a used-vehicle marketplace for Costa Rica. Use the web app, the mobile app (iOS/Android), or this guide via the Guide link in the footer.
What you can do
- Search — browse private sellers, dealers, and aggregated portal listings in one place.
- Filter and sort — by make, model, price, year, province, and more.
- Save favorites — compare options later.
- Contact sellers — in-app messages for AutoLista listings; external link for aggregated listings.
- Publish your vehicle — create a listing with photos and vehicle details.
- Manage your listings — edit, mark as sold, or delete.
Main navigation
On mobile, the bottom bar has: Home, Favorites, Post, My Listings, Messages, and Profile. On desktop, the top bar includes search, Publish, favorites/messages/listings icons, and the profile menu (language, dark mode, sign in).
Two listing types
- Posted on AutoLista — created by registered users; you can message the seller in the app.
- Aggregated — sourced from public sites (dealers, Encuentra24, CRAutos, etc.); the main button opens the original listing.

Do I need an account to search?
No. You can browse without signing in. An account is required to publish, save favorites, or send messages.
Does AutoLista charge to publish?
Check the current terms in the app. Basic listing is intended for private sellers in Costa Rica.
